NexFile — Privacy Policy

NexFile is a downloader and file manager built for speed and privacy. NexFile does not collect, sell, or share personal data. Everything stays on your device and is processed locally.

Data collection

  • No accounts, sign-in, or profiles.
  • No analytics, ads, crash reporting SDKs, or trackers.
  • No servers that receive your files, download URLs, identifiers, or usage.
  • NexFile does not sell, share, or transfer your data to third parties.

On-device data only

  • Downloads and files you manage are stored locally in the app’s Documents directory (visible via Files / iTunes File Sharing).
  • Download progress, history, and resume data are stored locally to keep transfers reliable.
  • Optional app lock passcode is stored in the iOS Keychain; Face ID/Touch ID stays on-device.
  • Preferences (like sort choices and locked items) are kept in local storage. They never leave your device.
  • Your data may be included in your device backups if you enable iCloud or Finder backups; we do not receive it.

Storage and sync

  • Files remain on-device unless you choose to move or share them with other apps.
  • Resume data is cleared when you delete a download; completed files stay in your Files/Documents folder.
  • Deleting NexFile removes its local data. Backups you control may still contain copies.

Network connections

  • NexFile only connects to the download URLs you add, using Apple’s background download services.
  • No calls are made to Aipple servers or third-party tracking endpoints.
  • We prefer HTTPS when a source supports it, but security depends on the origin you choose.

Permissions & controls

  • Files & Folders / File Sharing: to save, open, and manage the files you download.
  • Background downloads: to finish transfers when you switch apps.
  • Face ID / Touch ID (optional): to unlock the app or locked items; biometric checks stay on-device.
  • You can delete downloads, remove files, or uninstall the app to clear local data.
