NexSpend — Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Profile basics you enter: name, age, living area, job, family size, preferred language/currency.
• Financial inputs you enter: income, budgets, fixed costs, expenses, notes.
• Subscription status: whether you’re NexSpend+ and which plan.
• Device + app basics: model, OS version, app version, locale for localization.

What we don’t collect

• No ads, trackers, or third-party analytics SDKs.
• No contact list, photos, or location unless you explicitly provide them (we don’t ask for them today).
• No selling or sharing of personal data.

How we use your data

• To generate budgets and insights you request.
• To keep your preferences (language, currency) consistent across the app.
• To verify subscription status when contacting our backend.

Storage and sync

• Data is stored locally on your device and synced to your iCloud (via CloudKit) if enabled.
• If you delete the app, local data is removed. iCloud data follows your iCloud settings.

AI features

• When you request AI insights, we send only the necessary text and context to our backend to process and return suggestions.
• We do not sell or train third parties on your data.

Subscriptions

Purchases are handled by Apple. We receive status (active/inactive, plan) to unlock NexSpend+ features.

Your controls

• Edit or delete budgets, expenses, and profile data at any time in-app.
• Disable iCloud for the app in System Settings if you don’t want sync.
• Contact us to request deletion of server-side logs tied to your device ID.
