StyleIt — Privacy Policy

StyleIt is built to keep your fashion experience private. This policy explains what data is handled when you use StyleIt, including our use of analytics to understand and improve the app.

What we process

  • Photos you choose to upload for wardrobe analysis.
  • Style preferences you provide, such as where you are going and how you want to be seen.
  • Generated clothing attributes and outfit suggestions returned by AI.
  • Basic app state needed to make the app work (for example onboarding and saved preferences).
  • Analytics events and app usage information, such as app launches, screens viewed, wardrobe actions, outfit generation, subscription prompts, device type, app version, and general performance information.

Analytics

  • StyleIt uses Firebase Analytics to help us understand which features are used, find problems, and improve the app.
  • Firebase Analytics may process app instance identifiers, device and app information, approximate location derived from network information, and usage events.
  • We do not use Firebase Analytics to sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising tracking across other companies’ apps or websites.
  • You can turn analytics off in the app settings. When analytics is disabled, StyleIt stops sending analytics events from the app.

What we do not collect on our servers

  • We do not run our own user data storage backend for your wardrobe content.
  • We do not store your photos or personal fashion data on our servers.
  • We do not sell your data and we do not use advertising trackers in StyleIt.
  • We do not use analytics to identify your wardrobe photos or personal fashion data on our servers.

AI processing

  • When you use AI features, selected inputs are sent to the GPT API to analyze clothing and generate outfit recommendations.
  • Only the content needed to complete your request is sent for that request.
  • AI responses can include mistakes and should be treated as suggestions, not guarantees.

Storage on your device

  • Your saved closet and generated outfits are intended to stay on your device unless your Apple account sync settings apply.
  • If you delete the app, local data may be removed according to iOS behavior and your backup settings.

Acceptable use and responsibility

  • StyleIt is provided for personal styling assistance.
  • You are responsible for how you use the app and any content you upload.
  • Any misuse, unlawful use, or harmful use of StyleIt is not the goal of our product and remains the user’s responsibility.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, StyleIt and its team are not liable for damages, losses, claims, or consequences resulting from user misuse of the app, user-provided content, or reliance on AI-generated suggestions.
